All my life I've felt so guilty,
Every day judged by my society,
Mother said "Your too fat,
I’ll have to take that chocolate back",
Father said, "Your a whore,
don't bring boyfriends to my door"
Sex for boys but not for girls,
That’s the way of this sweet world.

You're too loud, you're too strange,
You can’t join in our childhood games,
STD's, and stripping too,
feel so guilty for being you.
Natural urges aren't so good,
best keep them hidden under hood.
Don't be different, do not dare
For people surely look and stare.

All my life I've been told,
To keep my true self stuck on hold,
shut it down, switch it off,
Do it or you'll get told off,
look at her, look at him,
why can’t Elektra just fit in?
Feel so guilty deep inside
my soul and nature have to hide.

Forgive yourself,
just set it free,
why don't you come and dance with me,
we'll sing so loudly,
wait and see,
you'll be so glad you came with me :-))
The jury’s out, innocent's the plea,
Not guilty, I'm just being me.
