"The Tiger Dragon" by Elektra.Fire

 

The Tiger Dragon came today,

To tell me things She could not say,

She whispered truth I could not hear,

With my external human ear,

 

Upon her back, I flew away,

Yet on the ground both feet did stay,

Mother Earth and Father Sky,

Both looked up and asked me "Why?"

 

I could not say, I did not know,

"The Tiger Dragon told me so!"

In my heart I was surprised,

To see through someone else's eyes.

 

I stared at Her, mouth open wide,

My soul’s true feelings could not hide,

Bliss and Joy her gift to bring,

And I could hear the forest sing,

 

I did not know the melody,

I sang involuntarily

The Tiger Dragon smiled and breathed,

I knew then it was time to leave,

 

Leave myself, and live life free,

A spark in the Eternal Sea.

The colors now, I hear their sound

The Tiger Dragon taught me how.
