As you continue your activation and awakening, your energetic structure and flow will continue to build. Spouse being in your proximity will have direct contact with your energy. So your spouse is being continuously invited to awaken. They may or may not. Kundalini will determine this. It is not an uncommon event with the Kundalini, and it can be wonderful or not depending on the steps that are taken to help the partner into a more accepting, agreeable position regarding the Kundalini.
These steps could be opening your anahata (heart) or placing more attention upon this area and by doing so stimulating an increased flow to your heart, especially when you are near your spouse.

Being as interested in their process as you are with yours in the format that is most comfortable for them, and explaining the inner details of what, how, and why you are initiating this practice, and what the effects can and will possibly be for them.
