Marriage

What happens when Kundalini comes to one spouse and not the other? Sometimes it can be the cross upon which all of the issues of the marriage come to bear. Sometimes it can be so heavy that the solid timbers of the cross will snap! And the contents of the relationship will tumble to the earth.

Sometimes the cross of the marriage is strengthened as the love between husband and wife becomes laced with the living gold of the divine Marriage. The Kundalini.

So much of the success of a marriage and the loving dynamic of the activated individual will depend on the support of the spouse that isn't being activated at that time. These are the heroic spouses. To stand in the presence of kriyas and spinal sweeps and simply release the desire to rush their dear spouse off to the hospital is a true and faithful person who can trust and be trusted and who can live by that trust and faith that it is their partner in life's wishes that this be allowed regardless of contemporary panic opportunities.

Many crosses will break but they do not have to. They can be strengthened by just a little bit of education. Even a mere book on the coffee table like for instance Ajit Mookerji's Kundalini book with its Golden cover and its historical and visual descriptions of the Kundalini. These are just two ways a spouse can be educated into the fact of the Kundalini as it transforms the activated spouse. A gentle help and a gentle and trusting directed visual or educational option for the spouse not being activated can be extremely beneficial for the entire process.

During the kriyas stage it is often best to get separate sleeping arrangements as the contortions of the awakening spouse can be somewhat severe in scope and range of motion. Separate beds would be a definite yet impermanent assistance as at least one spouse may be able to sleep.

It is very important for the awakening spouse to be aware of their emotional balances inside of their awakening and to do their best to not "blow up" at the marriage partner due to hurts and harms one has received or inflicted and that are being released due to the awakening process. You may struggle with this at first but if the both of you know that these are being brought up for balancing then at least the knowledge can stave off the hurt that can be unintentionally given.

It is important to realize that the awakening spouse is no more "spiritual" than the supporting spouse. Kundalini may end up coming to the supporting spouse as well and as it is in every human being the idea of a competition between the spouses is probably related to other imbalances within the marriage.

So it is a test and a strong reward for those in a marriage. Sometimes it takes time and gentle nudges here and there by the awakening spouse. Sometimes it requires the foot going down and the parameters explained in no uncertain terms. This is up to the dynamic already present in the marriage.

It isn't always helpful to be as honest and revealing all at once to a spouse that isn't familiar or activating with the Kundalini. Slow and gentle and always present visual stimulations can help. A chakra book or poster. Or the picture of an awakened being with an aura etc. It is important to determine the rate of information a spouse can handle safely and within the known comfort levels.

Kundalini will also be working on them to be sure as the proximity and degree of sharing will bear fruit. Not always in an awakening though. One must remember the inherent intelligence of the Kundalini and its ability to discern the dynamic of receptivity for Kundalini of the supporting spouse.

Kundalini can greatly enhance the marital experience. It can open windows and doorways into amazing shared and deeply intimate personal experiences of bliss and ecstasy beyond words. It can be so wonderful to have and be a supportive spouse.
